Victor Sloan leads up the acquisition department and has been successful in finding the right aircraft for individuals and corporations since 1977. Regardless whether it is a piston engine, turbo-prop or Jet Aircraft we will put together the right deal for you.
The first step in acquiring an aircraft is to properly determine your Mission Requirements. We will determine your range requirements, destinations, passenger requirements, aircraft speed, cabin size and budget.
The second step is to determine your pilot staffing, insurance, aircraft hanger availability and any Aircraft Management Services required. A review of your intended operations to operate under FAA Part 91 or 135 Air Carrier Status will be evaluated.
The third step is to determine what Legal and Tax Issues will apply to your situation and arrange a meeting with the right professionals to review the proposed acquisition.
The fourth step is to perform a Market Analysis of available aircraft through target research, and evaluate recent trade activity (pricing and market trend oscillations), current imminent maintenance and regulatory issues, such as RVSM and noise abatements that can affect both the value of the aircraft and the operating limitations.
The fifth step is to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection of the selected aircraft for review. We coordinate the inspection process with a specialized maintenance company prior to your concluding the commercial aspects of the transaction. A review of the aircraft’s logs and records, aircraft airworthiness, aircraft systems operation, engines and trend monitoring, propellers, airframe and avionics inspections will be performed.
The final step is executing all aspects of the Purchase Contract and handling of all required FAA documents, lien reports, title and escrow services, and coordination with the insurance company and aircraft lender.
Follow Up
After the delivery and transaction is completed we will continue to monitor your acquisition and act as a liaison with any follow up services that you may need.
